  WaSP 12V Submersible Pumps and Accessories

WaSP 12V Submersible Pumps are available in four sizes for pumping from depths of between 12 and 26 metres.


Designed for continuous pumping, these pumps require a standard 12V DC battery (marine batteries are recommended). Pumps have a 400 hour motor life, which is up to 100% longer than competitor models.

P2, P3 or P5 pumps are 42mm in diameter and ideal for use in 50mm diameter or larger monitoring wells and borehoes. Use the 37mm diameter Wasp N21 for slightly constricted or narrower boreholes.

Each pump is supplied with sufficient cable to pump from its maximum rated depth - no need to splice cable. LDPE discharge tubing and cable ties are supplied separately.

Use a Wasp F1 Flow Controller to reduce and control flow rates for low flow sampling.

WaSP-P2 (Two Stage Submersible Pump)

The Wasp-P2 is a 2 stage submersible pump which is used to depths of up to 12 metres. It has a maximum flow rate at 1 metre head of 10 litres per minute, reducing to 2 litres per minute at 10m depth.

WaSP-P3 (Three Stage Submersible Pump)

The WaSP-P3 is a 3 stage submersible pump which is used to depths of up to 18 metres. It has a maximum flow rate at 1 metre head of approximately 12 litres per minute, reducing to approximately 1 litres per minute at 17 metres depth.

WaSP-P5 (5 Stage Submersible Pump)

The WaSP-P5 is a 5 stage submersible pump which is used for pumping water from depths of up to 26 metres. It has a maximum flow rate at 1 metre head of approximately 17 litres per minute reducing to 1 litre per minute at approx 25m head.

WaSP-N21 (Narrow Diameter Submersible Pump)

The Wasp-N21 is a narrow 37mm diameter 2 stage submersible pump which is used to depths of up to 21 metres. It has a maximum flow rate at 1 metre head of 9 litres per minute, reducing to 6 litres per minute at 10m depth. Can be used in narrow diameter boreholes from 42mm upwards.

WaSP Tubing and Accessories

All Wasp submersible require discharge tubing which is simply push-fitted over the the outlet collar on the pump and then cut to the required length. 30m LDPE tubing and cable ties are available separately for simple and rapid customised connection.
