TROLL 9500 EC Sensors
The modern four-electrode conductivity cell contains two drive electrodes and two sensing electrodes. The sensing electrodes are positioned in a low-current area so that electrode fouling is minimized. An alternating current is used to drive the cell. This reduces errors caused by polarization resulting from the application of a direct current. The condutivity cell is used to provide measurements of water quality expressed as actual conductivity, specific conductivity, salinity, TDS, or specific gravity. Two conductivity sensors are available, optimized for performance in different areas of the conductivity range. Both sensors are pressure rated to 350 psi (246m water depth) with an operating temperature range of -5° to 50° C . Low-range sensor: 5 to 20,000 µS/cm ±0.5% or 2 µS/cm High-range sensor: 150 to 112,000 µS/cm ±0.5% or 2 µS/cm |

TROLL 9500 pH / ORP Sensors
The In-Situ® pH sensor is a combination, single-junction electrode. It has a glass sensing bulb and a half-cell that contains a replaceable junction and refillable Ag/AgCl reference electrolyte solution. The In-Situ pH/ORP sensor is a combination, single-junction electrode that contains a platinum ORP sensor, a glass pH sensing bulb, a replaceable junction and refillable reference electrolyte solution. Both sensors are designed and manufactured for long-lasting, accurate results in a variety of environmental waters. Accurate, robust and refillable, In-Situ pH sensors outlasts traditional sensors. Operating temperature: 0° to 50° C Recommended calibration frequency: 1 to 2 months Response time: <15 sec Pressure rating: 300 psi Usable depth: 210 m Range: 0 to 12 pH units; ±1400 mV (ORP) Accuracy: ±0.1 pH unit; ±5 mV (ORP) |

TROLL 9500 Rugged Dissolved Oxygen (RDO) Sensor
Two styles of the RDO Sensor are available for use with the TROLL® 9500 water quality instrument. RDO Direct-Connect Sensor (for sub 2-inch sondes) Can be used alongside a single pH/ORP or ISE sensor and a conductivity sensor. Suited to most environmental monitoring applications. Cable-Connect RDO Sensor (for sub-4-inch sondes) For applications requiring turbidity and/or pressure sensors a sub 4-inch sonde configuration is needed requiring a different style of RDO connection. With this set-up, the TROLL 9500 can contain a full suite of sensors including pH, pH/ORP or ISE, alernatively a separate ISE, conductivity and turbidity with or without level/pressure. Operating temperature: -5 to 50° C Response time: T90: <45 sec.; T95: <60 sec. DO Measurement Range: 0 - 50 mg/l Accuracy: 0 to 8 mg/l: ±0.1 mg/l / 8 to 20 mg/l: ±0.2mg/l / 20 to 50 mg/l:±10% of reading Pressure rating: 150 psi from 0 to 50° C and 300 psi @ 25° C Depth rating: 211 m Calibration: 1 or 2 point Typical calibration frequency: Check every 3 months (clean water) Technology: Lumiphore impregnated foil matrix, dynamic luminescence quenching technique using phase domain detection. |

TROLL 9500 Pressure Sensors (non-vented)
A pressure sensor can be fitted to the TROLL® 9500 instrument on its own or in conjunction with a turbidity sensor (see above) Non-vented (absolute) pressure sensors measure water levels using total pressure. Use in conjunction with the BaroTROLL for recording barometric pressure and utilise Win-Situ Baro Merge™ software to simplify post-correction of water level data collected with the TROLL 9500 non-vented sensor. |

TROLL 9500 Pressure Sensors (vented)
A pressure sensor can be fitted to the TROLL® 9500 instrument on its own or in conjunction with a turbidity sensor (see above) Vented (gauged) pressure sensors are used ot directly measure water levels using vented cable to automatically compensate for atmospheric pressure variations. |
