The TeleScoop sampler is a versatile telescopic sampling system with exchangeable sample container holders. This is an ideal tool for safely sampling open water such as rivers, streams and reservoirs. The scoop tools are attached to the rod by an easy to use snap-in joint.
Two telescopic rod sizes are available. Standard rods are based around a 1.7m long pole with extensions up to 4.5 metres. For portability (e.g for carrying inside smaller vehicles) a 1m base pole is available with extensions up to 2.8m.

TeleScoop Bottle Holder Scoop
The bottle holder scoop includes a protective base and additional central clamping belt to minimise damage or breakage of the sample container during use. It can be angled in a variety of positions from vertical to horizontal. Sutable for use with plastic or glass bottles up to a maximum 95mm diameter.

Peristaltic Pump and Accessories
Attach some narrow tubing to the telescopic poles and use the poles to extend and position the end of the tube at a sampling location in the surface water body. A peristaltic pump can then be used to pump water directly to a sample container without the need to swing the bottles in and out of the water body. Simple but effective!
Best deployed using a 3/8 inch adaptor kit for the Model 410 peristaltic pump and flexible PVC or similar tubing.
