This easy-to-use stream Flowmeter includes a digital meter which displays velocity in units of metres per second or mph. A calibrated impeller is supplied on a graduated pole for rapid deployment and use in the field.

Powered by a standard PP3 9V battery (included), the Flowmeter also comes with a protective carrying pouch, a sturdy folding impeller stick, and a compact field case for carrying and storing the whole kit.

Three stream bed riser rods are included with the impeller unit which allow velocity measurements to be made at fixed heights above the bed of the stream in 75mm vertical intervals up to 450mm.
