The rugged construction includes a number of innovative features to ensure the accuracy and long life of the unit.
Tape Reel and Guide
The Level TAPE comes with nylon reel flanges and hub, stainless steel fittings and integrated probe holder and tape guide (not included on units above 200 m in length). The sturdy steel frame is coated in polyurethane for durability and has a vinyl coated carry handle for comfort. A stainless steel axle ensures smooth running of the reel.
Tape
Two types of high quality tape are available in lengths from 30 metres to 600 metres. Both tapes have stainless steel conductors and a dog bone cross section to prevent the tape sticking to the side of the well casing.
Replaceable Probe
The 16mm diameter stainless steel and Teflon button style probe is designed for easy cleaning with no holes or recesses for the build up of contaminants. The fully submersible probe is pressure rated to 450m and is attached to the tape using a security link that prevents over stressing of the tape by releasing the probe in the event of it becoming stuck in the well. Replacement probe kits are available at minimal cost enabling simple, accurate repairs without the need to splice tape.
Electronics
The electronics module is a waterproof, fully encapsulated modular design that allows for easy removal for cleaning, decontamination and replacement. A sensitivity control eliminates false signals due to cascading or highly saline water. Unlike competitor systems, the electronics work on an AC current to prevent probe corrosion.
Accessories
Both models are provided with a carry bag included.

Rugged Level TAPE 100 Water Level Dip meters

The Rugged Level TAPE 100 uses the same rugged reel, frame, probe and electronics as the Rugged Level TAPE 200, but is supplied with a high quality polyethylene tape reinforced throughout with Kevlar fibres for strength. Markings are indelible using easy to read heat stamping onto the tape surface. A lightweight canvas carry bag is provided as standard. This can be replaced with an optional padded carry bag for additional protection. Tapes are accurate, robust and reliable and more than a match to equivalent products from other manufacturers! The Rugged Level TAPE 100 comes with a 3 year limited warranty. |

Rugged Level TAPE 200 Water Level Dip Meter
|
The Rugged Level TAPE 200 includes a premium quality steel tape jacketed in clear polyethylene to ensure durability. Graduations are printed in easy-to-read black directly onto the yellow high tensile steel tape core resulting in a consistently accurate, easy to read tape with a very high breaking strength. A padded carry bag is provided as standard. The Rugged Level TAPE 200 comes with a 5 year limited warranty. |

Carry Bags
|
Unlike many of our competitors, we provide all In-Situ Rugged Water Level TAPES with field carry bags.The Rugged Level TAPE 100 includes a lightweight canvas bag. Apart from the Rugged Water Level Tape 100, which is supplied with a lightweight canvas bag, all other models are provided with a high quality and durable padded carry bag which orovides that extra cushion of protection for transport and storage.
Both Bags can be bought separately for general field use or as replacements. |
