  In-Situ Rugged Conductivity / Temperature / Level Meter

In-Situ Rugged Conductivity / Temperature / Level Meters enable accurate measurements of conductivity, water level and temperature in wells, boreholes, stand pipes and open bodies of water. They can be used to profile conductivity and temperature to depths of 100m (customisable to 300m).

Tape Reel and Guide
The Conductivity / Temperature / Level Meter comes with nylon reel flanges and hub, stainless steel fittings and integrated probe holder and tape guide (not included on units above 200m in length). The sturdy steel frame is coated in polyurethane for durability and has a vinyl coated carry handle for comfort. A stainless steel axle ensures smooth running of the reel.

Stainless Steel Tape
The tape has a high tensile steel core and two seven strand stainless steel conductors to give the strength of the tape. The scale is printed on the inner steel core which is then jacketed in medium density polyethylene ensure durability and readability. This process ensures that the markings on the tape are not lost due to wear and tear and results in a consistently accurate, easy to read tape with a very high breaking strength.

Probe
The 19mm diameter stainless steel probe uses a four electrode system comprising of two arrays of a single electrode within a concentric electrode. Each array reverses its polarity 1000 times per second. This system drastically reduces electrode corrosion ensuring reproducible readings.

Electronics
The electronics module is a waterproof, fully encapsulated modular design which houses an LCD screen that displays conductivity and temperature. A bright red LED and an 80dB buzzer are also housed in the module. The electronics are based on A/C current which helps prevent probe corrosion and fouling and the unit is powered by a single 9v battery.

Conductivity Measurement
The meter is standardised against standard conductivity solutions at 25 Deg C. The meter measures the temperature and automatically converts readings to specific conductivity values.

Temperature Measurement
The meter will measure temperatures from -20 Deg C to +85 Deg C. A response time of approximately 10 seconds allows for temperature stabilisation.

Accessories
A carry bag is included.
