Portable yet suitable for use in the laboratory, all measurements are taken with just one probe with readings displayed on a large dual level LCD screen enabling step by step guides through automatic calibration functions. All probes are replaceable.

Electrical Conductivity / TDS / NaCL / Temperature Field Meter

The HI 9835 meter combines four important parameters which can be veiwed simultaneously: Electrical Conductivity (EC), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), sodium chloride (NaCl) and temperature.

This extended range waterproof conductivity meter (up to 500 mS/cm) is particularly suited to environmental monitoring applications. Highly portable and compact for field use, yet suitable for use in the laboratory, this meter is part of the Environmental Monitoring Kit.. All measurements are taken with just one probe with readings displayed simultaneosly on a LCD screen.

A 4-ring probe design innovation allows for greater stability in conductivity measurements over a broader measuring range. This probe is equipped with an embedded temperature sensor.

With improved resolution and accuracy the meter can read from de-ionised water to sea water, automatically switching ranges. Main features include automatic calibration with pre-programmed buffers and stability indicator. Choose between automatic and manual temperature compensations to match your operating requirements. In addition, you can also select from a range of TDS factors from 0.40 to 0.80 AND a range of temperature coefficients 0.00 to 6.00% for greater consistency and reproducibility.

The housing is completely waterproof and built to survive the harsh conditions of field use. For extended time studies, this meter can also be connected to a 12 Vdc power supply (optional).

The HI 9835 meter is supplied with a HI 76309 conductivity probe with stainless steel sensor, and 1m of cable and batteries. These are incorporated into a rugged carrying attaché case complete with instructions.

Dissolved Oxygen Field Meter

High specification fully waterproof (to IP67 standard) portable dissolved oxygen meter for field and laboratory use - and chosen for use in the Environmental Monitoring Kit. The new and improved HI 9146 meter measures and displays O² from 0 to 300%, 0 to 45 mg/L and temperature from 0 to 50°C.

Results are microprocessor controlled and displayed on a large easy to read LCD screen which shows dissolved oxygen and temperature simultaneously. Dissolved oxygen readout can be selected in ppm or % saturation.

Calibration is automatic in 100% saturated air by simply pressing the CAL button. The meters are calibrated and ready to use in a matter of minutes. Auto-calibration eliminates the need to use a screwdriver or other devices to adjust the reading. Additional compensation for salinity and altitude can also be applied by the user.
