  Rugged TROLL 200 Direct Read Cable and Accessories

The non-vented Rugged TROLL® 200 cable connects a Rugged TROLL 200 or Rugged BaroTROLL® Instrument directly to a controller or logger for communication via any of the following:

- Top-of-well cable connector and RS485
- Modbus/RS485 wiring
- SDI-12 wiring

The durable connector mates with the probe body using a screw thread. The top-of-well connector mates with a Rugged TROLL® Com for connection to a computer.

Optional stripped and tinned wire versions are available enabling connection to telemetry, PLC, SCADA and alternative logger systems via MODBUS or SDI-12 communication protocols.

Rugged TROLL 200 Direct Read Cable

Use (non-vented) Rugged TROLL 200 direct-read cable to connect directly to a Rugged TROLL 200 or Rugged BaroTROLL. Cable can be customised to specified lengths up to 300 metres. Cable is high quality 4 conductor cable, pressure rated to 100 metres water submergence. In practice the maximum submergence is dictated by the pressure rating of the chosen logger (i.e. 9m, 30m or 76 metres). Use with Rugged TROLL Com Device to programme and collect data.

Rugged TROLL 200 Direct Read Communication Device

The Rugged TROLL Com device enables the programming and data download from the Rugged TROLL 200 or Rugged BaroTROLL connected to a Direct Read cable. The Rugged TROLL Com is available in USB and RS232 versions for connection to a PC, and the RS232 version can also be used with the RuggedReader handheld PDA.
