RDO PRO - Rugged Dissolved Oxygen Probe
|
Robust and Reliable
- Inert construction will not corrode in high salinity samples
- Insensitive to common interferences such as hydrogen sulfide, chloride, ammonium
Simple Design
- Requires only 8 to 36 VDC power
- No costly external transmitters or controllers needed
- Easy probe configuration
- Calibration coefficients are loaded into the sensor cap
Cost Effective with Flexible Communication Options
- Includes complete instrument with a standard 10 metre cable
- Includes integral 4-20 mA, Modbus/ RS485, and SDI-12 signal outputs
- Eliminates the need for a separate, costly transmitter/controller
Accurate Results
- ±0.1 mg/L accuracy from 0 to 8 mg/L DO
- ±0.2 mg/L accuracy from 8 to 20 mg/L DO
- ±10% of reading from 20 to 50 mg/L DO
- Fast response to oxygen and temperature changes
- Consistent, reproducible results (< 0.05 mg/l reproducibility)
Applications
- Aquaculture operations
- Dam discharge applications
- Flood control systems
- Municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants
- River and stream gauging and control
- Real-time remediation systems—pump and treat
EPA Recommends Approval of In-Situ® RDO® Optical DO Methods
The U.S. EPA has granted nationwide approval to three In-Situ RDO optical dissolved oxygen (DO) methods under the Alternate Test Procedure (ATP) process. These methods can be used in the measurement of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Carbonaceous Biochemical Oxygen Demand (CBOD), and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) under the US Clean Water Act.
