The Solinst Model 101 water level dip meter sets the standard for groundwater level measurement.

The tape is permanently marked every millimetre and available in a variety of lengths of up to 600 metres (stock lengths are 30, 60 and 100m). Seven strands of non-stretch stainless steel conductor in each side of the measuring tape gives superior strength and makes the tape easy to repair. Tape reels include a test indicator button, easy access battery drawer, brake, good ground clearance and wide base for extra stability.

A tape guide / datum marker (supplied as standard on all reels except mini reels) enables hands-free, accurate operation. The P2 shroud tip stainless steel probe (12.7 mm diameter) is supplied as standard. The optional P6 probe is identical to the P2 probe but is pressure rated to allow submergence below water level (up to 300m).

The Solinst Model 101 mini water level dip meter is available on an easily transported Mini Reel in lengths of 10 and 20m. Tape is 6mm wide and marked each millimetre. Weighted probes are available in diameters of 6.4mm (P1) or 10mm (P2).

The Solinst Model 102 coaxial cable water level dip meter is a low cost meter designed for use in narrow diameter tubes or piezometers. The cable has a heavy duty jacket and stainless steel inner conductor for strength and chemically bonded markings at 1m intervals. Weighted stainless steel probes of 6.4 mm (P1) and 10 mm (P2) diameter are available. Reels are available up to 300m in length. Stock lengths are 30, 60 and 100m.

The Solinst TLC Conductivity Meter provides the ability to manually record conductivity and temperature at varying depth in a borehole in addition to water level and depth measurements - all of this is carried out using a conventional dip meter tape.

The TLC Conductivity Meter provides a simple means of rapidly profilng any borehole and can provide immediate data for planning borehole purging strategies, identifying saline pollutant inputs or for natural salinity investigations. See separate pdf sheet for example data.

The unit includes a rotating LCD screen which displays temperature and conductivity simultaneously. Water level readings are recorded with an audible signal.

Conductivity range is 100 to 80,000 uS/cm with one or two point calibration using standard solutions. Accuracy is 2%. Temperature range is -15 to +60 degrees C with accuracy of 0.3 deg C.

The TLC Meter is powered by a single 9V battery with a 90 hour life. In common with all Solinst dipmeters, the battery compartment is an easily accessible pop-out tray located in the side of the reel. A free carry case and tape guide are included in the purchase price.

The Solinst Model 122 oil/water interface meter gives accurate measurement of floating or sinking product level and thickness in boreholes and tanks to depths of up to 300 metres. Stock lengths are 30, 60 and 100m.

The 16mm diameter P1 probe facilitates measurements in narrow diameter boreholes and can be easily cleaned.

Infra red refraction is used to detect product layers and conductivity to distinguish water. Both optical and electronic sensors are precisely at zero point. A steady light and tone indicate product. Intermittent signals indicate water.

The high quality state of the art electronics includes automatic circuitry testing when switched on, extended battery life, clear signals and high accuracy. The tape is the same high quality, repairable material used in the Model 101 water level dip meter. The well balanced reel has convenient battery drawers and all the same benefits of the Model 101 reel.

The Solinst 103 "Tag Line" uses a 0.7kg weight attached to a 1.6mm stranded stainless steel cable with a minimal break strength of 122kg. The weight has tapered ends to minimise snagging in the borehole and can be clipped on and off the cable.

The cable is marked at one metre intervals with low profile bonded markings. Each Tag Line is supplied with a tape guide to protect damage to the cable at the edge of the well casing.
