Waterra FHT-45 in-line disposable filters are easy to use with bailers and most sampling pumps. They are excellent for field filtration to 0.45µm for dissolved metals analysis. Filters supplied by Waterra uniquely include couplings customised for connection to a wide range of sampling devices. The large surface area (700 cm2) allows filtration of even the most turbid of samples. Filters are sold individually or discounted in boxes of 50 or 100. The FHT45 filter is particularly suitable for use with bailers (illustrated).

The Sheffield LFC flow-through cell is the culmination of a collaborative development programme between the University of Sheffield's Groundwater Protection and Restoration Group (GPRG) (www.Shef.ac.uk/gprg/) and Waterra (UK) Limited. It offers a range of innovative design features engineered to provide high quality field and laboratory measurements where air contact with the sample has to be avoided. Its modular form, simple connections and low cell volume capacity (<40ml) remove many of the practical obstacles to achieving high quality measurements for groundwater characterisation and remediation monitoring.

Sheffield LFC Kits

Ready to use 6 cell kits include base, cells, connectors and bungs and a selection of connectors for a range of pump types. 3-way valves can be supplied as accessories.

Sheffield LFC Tubing and Connector
A 3m length of 10mm OD PVC tube is supplied in the standard kits. Additional lengths of tubing are availble per metre. Other accessories include valves for controling flow at the inlet and outlet points of the cell and a unique tubing adaptor for use with Standard Waterra inertial pumps.

The Telescoop sampler is a versatile telescopic sampling system with exchangeable sample container holders. This is an ideal tool for sampling open water such as rivers, streams and reservoirs. The scoop tools are attached to the rod by an easy to use snap-in joint.

TeleScoop Sampler - Rod Options

Two telescopic rod sizes are available. Standard rods are based around a 1.5m long pole with extensions up to 4.5 metres. For portability (e.g for carrying inside smaller vehicles) a 0.7m base pole is available with extensions up to 2.8m.

Bottle Holder Scoop

The bottle holder scoop includes a protective base and additional central clamping belt to minimise damage or breakage of the sample container during use. It can be angled in a variety of positions from vertical to horizontal. Sutable for use with plastic or glass bottles up to a maximum 95mm diameter.

The Surface Water Flow Probe enables the measurement of flows in open channels and partially filled pipes from 50mm depth. The probe consists of a protected propeller and sensor coupled with an extending probe handle ending in a digital readout display. The flow computer displays instantaneous velocity or average velocity and can be changed between metric and imperial units. The Flow Probe is a simple and easy to use tool for one-off surveys of flow in sewers or stream channels.

EnviroCap locking well caps are attached to the top of well casing and serve the dual functions of preventing surface water from entering the well through the top of the casing and restricting access by unauthorized persons.

EnviroCaps feature an exclusive built in locking system that is completely sealed from the outside environment to eliminate replacement cost of failed locks due to rust, corrosion, and debris. Unlike conventional caps, EnviroCap does not come loose in the casing.

The EnviroCap cannot be opened without using the special magnetic EnviroCap Key (universal) which prevents unauthorised access to the borehole

Manual Reels for Cable

A simple high impact hand reel avoids unsightly and dangerous trailing of cord on the ground during use. The reel can hold up to 100m of 3.5mm polyester cord or stainless steel cable. Spools can be removed and spares purchased seperately.
