Waterra (UK) Limited maintain the highest possible business and environmental standards by operating an
Integrated Management System incorporating the ISO9001:2000 Quality Standard and the ISO14001:2004
Environmental Management System. We also work to Health and Safety standards commensurate with OHSAS18001,
though have not applied for registration under this standard.

Health and Safety Policy Statement
|
It is the policy of Waterra UK Ltd to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and
welfare of its employees and the health and safety of other persons who may be affected by its activities.
The organisation will take steps to ensure that its statutory duties are met at all times.
Responsibilities
The organisation will ensure that:
- all processes and systems of work are designed to take account of health and safety and are properly supervised at all times
- a member of senior management maintains specific responsibility for health and safety
- competent people are appointed to assist us in meeting our statutory duties including, where appropriate, specialists from outside of the organisation
- all employees are consulted on matters relating to health, safety and welfare
- adequate facilities and arrangements will be maintained to enable employees to raise issues of health and safety
- each employee will be given such information, instruction and training as is necessary to enable the safe performance of work activities
- all arrangements are brought to employees attention and are monitored and reviewed to ensure that they are effective
- a review of this policy is made annually

Environmental Policy Statement (ISO 14001)
|
It is the corporate priority of Waterra to ensure that environmental management is a key determinant in our aim
to maintain the highest practicably achievable standards of environmental protection and sustainability.
We will seek to continually improve our policies, programmes and environmental performance, taking into account
technical developments within the industry, customer needs and the requirements of the community.
It is Waterra policy to implement and maintain an Environmental Management System as part of our IMS,
which sets out the Companys objectives and targets for continual improvement in all areas of our operation
within the physical buildings occupied by us, and all other areas where we can have influence on improving any
impacts on the environment.
Objectives and targets are set and appraised during the Management Review.
We will be pro-active on the dialogue with our stakeholders, anticipating and responding to their concerns about
environmental impacts.
It is the policy of Waterra to undertake our processes in a manner that is not detrimental to the environment
or to the health and safety of societies inside and outside of our operations and to prevent pollution.
Prior to the purchase and development of new products and during any maintenance processes environmental
issues will be considered.
Waterra will regularly review and consider the impact of environmental issues on its business,
through the monitoring of suppliers and sub-contractors, materials, products, financial implications and
new technologies. The reviews will be carried out at operational level and also at managerial level to
ensure that the best environmental option is considered at every level of the operation. Waterra is committed
to full compliance with all applicable legal and other requirements to which we subscribe which relates to our
environmental aspects.

Quality Policy Statement (ISO 9001)
|
It is the policy of Waterra to adopt disciplines that will enable us to develop and to provide a continuing
quality of service to our customers. The processes that we have in place means that we can measure our
performance throughout the organisation and effect a programme of continual improvement and customer satisfaction.
This Quality Policy also provides a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives.
Objectives are set and appraised during the Management Review.
Waterra recognises that to meet our obligations to the customer we must continue to be at the forefront of
technology within the groundwater monitoring industry and to develop the potential of all of the people
working for us. All employees are aware of the need for their personal commitment to the Companys quality
philosophies and policy which is designed to ensure that products and services are provided to the customers
on time and to the agreed specification.
As a proactive Company looking to bring to the market new and innovative products we will undertake a
quality-planning programme to ensure that we have the resources personnel, equipment and the working environment
to meet the continuing demands of the marketplace. We also recognise the importance of developing and maintaining
strong communication channels within the organisation and with our customers and suppliers.
By adopting the disciplines required by the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system we are able to demonstrate
control over our processes and to create confidence within the organisation that the requirements for quality
are consistently fulfilled and maintained.
Waterra is also committed to comply with requirements and to continually
improve the effectiveness of the quality system.
