The CMT (Continuous Multichannel Tubing) multilevel system is an innovative and economical approach to multilevel groundwater monitoring. It provides the simplicity of a bundle type installation with the benefits of backfilling or sealing around a single tube. The 43mm OD, 7-channel tubing is supplied in standard lengths of 30m, 60m or 90m. Screened sections and seals can be located precisely where needed and are constructed on site.

These systems are ideal for use in narrow diameter boreholes - e.g within direct push drilling systems or hollow stem augers.

The patented Waterloo System is designed for use in 75mm or larger diameter boreholes. The simple modular system is customised to each borehole. Sampling ports are individually connected to the surface and sampling zones permanently isolated by packers or annular backfill seals. Dedicated transducers and/or sampling pumps may be fitted to each port. Alternatively an open access tube can be fitted to allow manual measurement of water level and the collection of samples.

Multilevel Monitoring Equipment - Micro Double Valve Pumps

The Micro DVP is ideal for low flow sampling and for sampling from narrow down-hole tubing including for use with the CMT and Waterloo multilevel systems. Flow rates of 20 to 150 ml/min, are possible, with very small associated purge volumes from within the narrow applications. The Micro DVP is durable and easy to operate using the pre-sets and fine tubing capabilities built into the Solinst Model 466 Electronic Control Unit.
