LT GOLD LEVELOGGERS (LEVEL AND TEMPERATURE)

The Leveloggerฎ Gold is vastly improved compared to competitor dataloggers. The Levelogger Gold offers higher resolution and and improved accuracy (to 0.05% of its range) - at a truly affordable price.
The Levelogger Gold has improved transducer, temperature, and clock accuracies and the ability to compensate for altitude, water density, temperature in addition to barometric pressure.
A new user-selectable recording schedule is built into the easy to use software alongside the standard event-based and linear sampling options. Battery life is 10-Years, even with recordings every minute. Memory is 40,000 readings of pressure and temperature, displayed as temperature compensated level, with an on-board backup of the last 1200 logs. The stainless steel housing has dimensions of 22mm x 154mm and protects against lightning and power surges. The golden Zirconium Nitride coating gives extra corrosion resistance.
Leveloggers can be inexpensively suspended on a simple wireline, or connected to the surface with direct read cable for rapid downloading of data and/or reprogramming, without removal from the water. Using a wireline reduces costs and allows the Levelogger Gold to be totally hidden from view and locked away from possible damage.
An inexpensive Barologger Gold is available to provide the most accurate and easy method of barometric compensation. The Leveloggers themselves are available in a variety of ranges for use at total pressures equivalent to 5m, 10m, 20m 30m and 100m. Applications include pumping and slug tests, surface water catchment studies, long term level monitoring of surface waters and groundwaters.

LT GOLD BAROLOGGERS (FOR BAROMETRIC COMPENSATION)

Leveloggers measure absolute pressure (water pressure + atmospheric pressure) expressed in metres or centimeters of water column. The most accurate method of obtaining changes in water level is to compensate for atmospheric pressure fluctuations using a Gold Barologger. This avoids any time lag in the compensation calculation and any errors introduced due to moisture build up, kinking or damage to alternative pressure compensation systems such as vented cable. The new Barologger Gold uses algorithms based on air rather than water pressure, which gives superior accuracy. The recorded barometric information can also be very useful to help determine barometric lag and/or barometric efficiency of the monitored aquifer - a feature not possible with vented cable.
The Data Compensation Wizard in the Levelogger software greatly simplifies the barometric adjustment of the water level measurements by using the synchronized data from one on-site Barologger with all the Leveloggers. The overall results give more reliable, highly accurate level data than that obtained when using high maintenance and expensive vented cable.

LT JUNIOR LEVELOGGERS (LEVEL AND TEMPERATURE)

The Leveloggerฎ Junior is the newest addition to Solinst Levelogger family. The Levelogger Junior offers a low cost alternative for measuring groundwater and surface water level and temperature. It combines a data logger, temperature sensor and pressure transducer in one compact, waterproof, stainless steel housing.
Compatible with Levelogger Gold Series software and accessories, the Levelogger Junior is able to integrate and communicate with all existing Levelogger systems, including the Leveloader Gold PDA unit. It features a 5 year battery, memory of 32,000 data points, accuracy of 0.1% FS, lifetime calibration, and comes with a 1 year warranty. The Levelogger Junior has the ability to compensate for altitude, water density and temperature in addition to barometric pressure. Easy to use software enables the most commonly used linear time sampling option. The stainless steel housing has dimensions of 22mm x 140mm.

LEVELOADER GOLD PDA DATA TRANSFER UNIT

The NEW Leveloader Gold is a field ready, water resistant handheld PDA built for the new Levelogger Gold! New Real Time View feature is ideal for viewing live water level and temperature data at pump tests. Scroll through data points from Real Time View, or within your saved log files.
The Leveloader Gold PDA uses the new popular Levelogger preset file integration. This allows you to setup Levelogger sampling schedules at the office and upload them to the Leveloader Gold PDA, which can hold up to 10 preset files at a time. This saves setup time and ensures that site wide investigations are using similar sampling schedules if required. These files can be changed and replaced at any time and can be distributed by email to field technicians.
The increased memory capacity, longer battery life (uses 9V alkaline or lithium), larger LCD screen, and ergonomic design all make the new Leveloader Gold PDA a more attractive and usable field device than our previous models. Connections for USB, RS232, optical and direct read interface cables are included.

COMMUNICATION PACKAGES AND UPGRADES

Leveloggers are programmed using a desktop or portable computer and an optical reader. The Windows software is very easy to use. The measurement time interval can be set between 0.5 secs. and 99 hours in linear sampling mode, set to a choice of short, medium or long logarithmic options or to event-based options. There is ample space for entering site, customer and sampling information.

LEVELOGGER GOLD CABLE AND ACCESSORIES

Leveloggers can be suspended below water by using any non-stretch wireline cable or by use of "direct read" cable.
Wireline cable (stainless steel or galvanised steel) is an inexpensive method of deployment, and allows loggers to be totally concealed in boreholes. Loggers can be readily retrieved each time data has to be recovered.
Direct Read cable allows loggers to be permanently installed in an undistrubed position in the water column and the unit to be reprogrammed and data downloaded from surface. Ideal for long-term monitoring applications.

Standard Well Head Accessories

EnviroCap locking well caps are attached to the top of well casing and serve the dual functions of preventing surface water from entering the well through the top of the casing and restricting access by unauthorized persons.
EnviroCaps feature an exclusive built in locking system that is completely sealed from the outside environment to eliminate replacement cost of failed locks due to rust, corrosion, and debris. Unlike conventional caps, EnviroCap does not come loose in the casing.
The EnviroCap cannot be opened without using the special magnetic EnviroCap Key (universal) which prevents unauthorised access to the borehole

3-PART WELL SLUGS

Waterra 3-part well slugs are used for permeability testing in narrow diameter boreholes. They are manufactured from 3 solid cylinders of Delrin with threaded connections to allow 1, 2 or all 3 sections to be used. Two standard sizes are available for use in 50mm and 100mm diameter wells. Each size will achieve an approximate 1m change in water level within the borehole lining. Customised sizes can be manufactured to order.
Use in conjunction with the Levelogger for accurate recording of water level changes during slug test.
