Torquer Well Plugs

Torquer well caps are a simple well plug incorporating two eyelets for securing loggers suspended on stainless steel cable. Choose a Torquer well plug to match your borehole ID (minimum borehole lining ID in mm is indicated in description). Torquer well plugs are capable of expanding in excess of 10 mm above their minimum diameter to provide a water tight seal. Padlocks are not supplied. For use with loggers, plugs can be supplied with a 2mm diameter vent hole to prevent pressurisation of the borehole during logging. Please be aware this does introduce a small opening in the plugs and consequently vented plugs should not be used for permanent sealing of boreholes, particularly where flooding can occur. EnviroCap Well Caps

EnviroCaps with 2mm vent holes, are an alternative to Torquer well plugs. They are ideal for securing loggers suspended on stainless steel cable within 2 inch (48mm min ID / 60mm max OD) diameter monitoring boreholes. EnviroCap locking well caps are attached to the top of well lining, and include a ring for suspending cable. They feature an exclusive built-in magnetic locking system that is completely sealed from the outside environment eliminating the need for padlocks. A 2mm vent hole can be added to the cap to prevent pressurisation of the borehole during use making these suitable for deployment with Leveloggers or other datalogging equipment. EnviroCap's unique magnetic locking keys are universal - one key fits all caps.
