Stainless Steel Weights with Centre Hole
Can be used singly or in multiples by beading onto cord or cable of 4mm diameter
or less (Image 1, above). Ideal for top-weighting of double valve bailers
(Image 3, above) or bottom weighting at the base of
a cord above a knot (Image 1, above).

Stainless Steel Weights with Eyebolts
These weights come complete with eyebolts and split rings ready for attachment to suspension
cord or cable or directly to passive samplers such as the Hydrasleeve or Equilibrator
(see Images 4 and 5, above).
A second eyebolt can be screwed into the base of the 150g, 250g and 500g weights to allow
additional weights to be joined together(Image 2, above).

Tethering of Passive Samplers
For situations where multiple groundwater samples are required to be taken in a borehole at
the same time at different depths, samplers can be attached at set intervals to a single
tether line. The diagrams opposite illustrate the technique of tethering used for the Equilibrator
and Hydrasleeve. Bottom weights are added as necessary to keep the tether line vertical in the borehole.
