When we designed the PowerPack PP1, our aim was to deliver a fully portable, single operator power unit for our Waterra Inertial Pumps - and we've achieved just that. At 13 kg, this unique system is light enough to comply with European one person Health & Safety lifting regulations and provides outstanding pumping performance.

The PP1 is powerful enough to lift water from over 60m depth using Standard Inertial Pump tubing and valves, and is so compact that it fits onto a back-pack frame. The PowerPack PP1 incorporates clamps for Waterra High Flow and Standard tubing sizes. A customised adaptor is available for use with Waterra SMF tubing for use with narrow diameter multi-level sample tubes.

The PP1 is powered by a Honda GX-22 series 4-stroke engine which uses standard unleaded fuel and can run for approximately 1 hour without refueling.

The Waterra SP1 portable suction pump weighs only 7 kg and is powered by the Honda GX series of ultra-small 4-stroke engines. As well as being a general purpose water pump capable of delivering up to 100 litres per minute, the SP1 is also an ideal tool for purging and sampling boreholes at suction depths (<7m) in conjunction with inertial pumps. The inertial pump is used to manually prime the suction pump. The suction pump can then be used to discharge purge water lifted by suction through the inertial pump tubing. Once purging is completed and to avoid cross-contamination, the suction pump is disconnected and samples taken by manual operation of the inertial pump.
